Uttarakhand High Court has revoked a government order which have hiked the fees of Ayurvedic colleges in the state. The Nainital High Court denotifying the state government order of 14 October 2015 said the students who have submitted fees will be reimbursed within 15 days.
The single bench of Justice Sudhansu Dhulla have led Ayurvedic student all over the state a sigh of relief. State government order had increased the fees of Ayurvedic colleges from Rs 80,000 to Rs 2.15 lakh per year, prompting 104 students of the Himalayan Ayurvedic College to challenge the move, terming it as unconstitutional.
