Gurugram: Union Minister for Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw is making headlines after posting a video on social media demonstrating the unmatched strength of a “Made in India” tablet. Sharing the video from his visit to VVDN Technologies’ headquarters in Manesar, Gurugram, Vaishnaw captioned the post: “Nahi Tootega. Designed in India. Made in India.”
In the video, the minister can be seen testing the tablet’s durability in real time—first slamming it on a table and later even standing on it to verify its strength. The tablet remained completely unscathed.
Vaishnaw was at VVDN Technologies to review indigenously developed products. The rugged tablet, built with military-grade durability, caught his attention. An engineer claimed the tablet could withstand extreme conditions—even a jeep running over it wouldn’t break it. It is also waterproof and tamper-proof.
Vaishnaw enthusiastically tested the claims by performing a live demo—slamming the device on the floor multiple times and standing on it himself. Impressed by the durability and innovation, he shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), where it quickly gained traction among users celebrating the success of India’s tech manufacturing capabilities.
