Nadda Visits Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib Amid Tight Security

Patna, 7th Sept. Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib on Saturday, amid tight security. Dressed in a Sikh turban, Nadda bowed before the Darbar Sahib, reflecting his respect for the revered site.

Nadda, who arrived in Patna on Friday, is on a two-day tour to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several health projects in Bihar. Accompanied by prominent figures including Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, state BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal, Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, and other senior leaders, Nadda’s visit underscores the government’s focus on health infrastructure.

Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, one of the five takhats of Sikhism, was established by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the 18th century to mark the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, who was born in Patna in 1666.

On Friday, Nadda inaugurated and laid the foundation for various health projects in Patna, Bhagalpur, and Gaya. On Saturday, he is set to inaugurate medical facilities in Patna, Darbhanga, and Muzaffarpur before returning to Delhi.

Additionally, he is expected to visit the site for the new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Darbhanga.
