Mumbai Cruise Drug Case: Mumbai Court Refuses to Grant Bail to Shahrukh Khan’s Son Aryan Khan

Mumbai, 8th Oct. Mumbai’s Killa Court has refused bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun in the Mumbai Cruise drug case. Aryan has got no relief from the court. Aryan Khan and 5 other accused will have to stay in Arthur Road Jail tonight after the bail plea is rejected. He has been kept in barrack number 1, which is a special quarantine barrack.

Let us tell you that on Thursday, he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days. In the hearing held today, the court refused to grant bail to Aryan Khan. After not getting bail from the court, Aryan Khan will now have to approach the sessions court. The court will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. In such a situation, it is not clear how many more days Aryan Khan will have to spend in jail.

Aryan’s lawyer said in the court today that the magistrate has the right to grant bail. He said that if the court has the power to grant remand, then it also has the right to grant bail. He said that drugs have not been recovered from Aryan.

ASG Anil Singh informed the court that 17 people are involved in this case. Their connection is under investigation. He said that if bail is granted, it would be interference with the witnesses. The accused are influential. Getting them bail increases the chances of tampering with the evidence. He said that a lot of material has been recovered during the investigation. Giving bail at this stage can become a hindrance in the investigation.
