A Mumbai court has given green signal to Enforcement Directorate (ED) to extradite fugitive Nirav Modi in money laundering case.

The E.D. has filed a plea to seek extradition of fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi where the special court in Mumbai has allowed official to take action against Modi. Judge M.S. Azmi orders have given ED to initiate the extradition process.

Hiten Venegaokar counsel of ED said, “The order will be sent to External Affairs Ministry which will forward it to the UK government”.

The court last week issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Nirav Modi after taking cognizance of the charge sheet.
