Bhopal, 19th Oct. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday called on the public to actively participate in the country’s development by becoming members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The appeal came as Yadav renewed his membership as an active party member, marking the start of a statewide membership drive.
Speaking at his official residence during the event, Yadav emphasized the importance of active participation in the party’s initiatives. The membership renewal was part of the BJP’s nationwide drive, which aims to recruit new members or renew existing memberships.
The BJP’s state unit president, Vishnu Dutt Sharma, along with other party officials, joined Yadav for the formal launch of the drive. Addressing the gathering, Sharma highlighted that individuals who enroll 50 or more primary members are eligible to become active members at the divisional level. He also noted that BJP President J P Nadda had initiated the national drive on October 16, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi renewing his membership as the first active member.
The drive aims to bolster the party’s presence and engagement across the state, encouraging more citizens to contribute to the BJP’s vision of national progress.
