MLA Neeraj Sharma Again Raises Voice on 200 Crore Municipal Corporation Scam

Faridabad, 11th April. NIT Faridabad MLA Neeraj Sharma said that in the 200 crores municipal corporation scam case, the municipal corporation’s own inquiry committee had presented a detailed report, but instead of registering a case on the committee’s report, the corrupt officials of the corporation paid Rs 22 crore to the contractor Satbir.
Now by registering a case against Satbira in very minor sections, the government is only covering up, alleged Sharma.
On 6 August 2020, at whose behest, Rs 77057168 and Rs 74332871 were paid from the account number 348010200012315 and 9810010027462590 of the Municipal Corporation, asked the MLA. When on 9 July 2020, a committee was constituted to investigate this scam, who were the officials who were in a hurry to get this payment done, Sharma questioned.
The NIT MLA said that due to these scams, the condition of the Municipal Corporation today is that they do not have money to give to the employees. There is a strike due to non-payment of salary for 10 days in a month, the employees who retire here are retired without giving full funds.
Neeraj Sharma said that the contractors who are working honestly have to approach the court for payment. Till now no one with finance has been arrested nor any senior official. The case has also been registered in very mild sections. Sharma alleged that perhaps the whole process is going on to save the corrupt officials.
