Aizawl, 4th Dec. Mizoram Chief Minister and MNF candidate Zoramthanga lost the Aizawl East-1 seat to ZPMs Lalthansanga by a margin of 2,101 votes, according to the Election Commission.
Lalthansanga received 10,727 votes, while Zoramthanga secured 8,626 votes.
The Congress candidate, Lalsanglura Ralte, managed to secure 2,520 votes.
