New Delhi, 16th March.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the prompt redressal of public grievances through the Centralized Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).

MHA’s exemplary performance has earned it consistent placement among the top 10 ministries during the 2023-24 period in the Grievance Redressal Assessment Index (GRAI), excelling in all 15 indicators of the assessment.

During the same period, MHA has demonstrated exceptional efficiency by resolving 48,837 public grievances cases, with an impressive average redressal time of just 8 days, well below the standard of 30 days. Remarkably, only 10 percent of grievances resulted in appeals, showcasing MHA’s proactive approach and effective resolution mechanisms.

The high level of citizen satisfaction, standing at 40%, further underscores MHA’s success in addressing public concerns. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has recognized MHA’s performance as a benchmark for other ministries and departments, highlighting its effectiveness in setting standards for grievance redressal across the government.

This achievement reflects MHA’s unwavering dedication to serving the people and upholding the principles of transparency, accountability, and efficiency in governance.
