Bareilly, 30th June. The Bajrang Dal Mahanagar unit in Bareilly (U.P.) protested here against the brutal murder of Hindu youth Kanhaiya Lal by Islamic Jihadists in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and the growing radical Jihadi dogmatism in the country.

Addressing the protesters, Senior Advocate Alok Kumar, Central Working President of Vishva Hindu Parishad, stated that the mediaeval concepts of Jihad held by a segment of Muslims are spreading hatred and destroying Bharatiya society’s harmony.

The civilised societies of the entire globe must work together to overcome these significant threats to world peace and humanity, he said.

Alok Kumar also demanded that police complete investigations quickly, a fast track court should hear the Udaipur murder case and in a period of 6 months the victim’s family should be given justice by hanging the assassins till death.

He stated during the protest at the Shri Krishna Leela Sthal in Lalla Market, Bareilly, that the Udaipur assassination is the result of mazhabi psychosis. The way some Muslims understand and identify with ‘Jihad’ is particularly perilous and fatal. It believes that attacking, slaughtering, and plundering non-Islamic people is religiously sanctioned. “Maal-e-Ghanimat” refers to the abduction and rape of women.

Violence and unrest have spread throughout the world as a result of such inhuman concepts, he added.

The Udaipur incident may have been denounced by some Islamic organisations, but the working president of the VHP asserted that as long as these Jihadi ideas are propagated and spread, there will be no peace or intergroup harmony anywhere in the world.

Governments will treat them as matters of law and order and act accordingly, but this is an ideological battle that must be fought by all civilised societies around the world that value human values, human rights, human dignity, and women’s dignity. They must raise their voices. They will have to bear the risks of speaking out. They may have to pay the price as well.

Alok Kumar also urged right-thinking Muslims to raise these issues and advocate for reforms to adopt modern Human values. They will also have to ensure that madarsas and other similar institutions are not used as terrorist breeding grounds.

He also stated that Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal would continue to be at the forefront of societal safety and security, combating violence and anti-national activities valiantly.

Protesters included VHP Mahanagar President Ashu Agarwal, Working President Divya Chaturvedi, Bajrang Dal Mahanagar Coordinator Neeraj Chaurasia, and others.Co-convenor Nitin Sharma and Kewalanand Gaur and many other office-bearers and Hindu public.
