Mayawati Asks Centre to Address Inflation Issue Seriously

Lucknow, 7th April. Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Thursday said that the people are troubled by the rising fuel prices, and other essential goods, and asked the Central Government to address the issue seriously.

Mayawati’s remark came in the wake of fuel prices being hiked by Rs 10 a litre in 16 days.

In a tweet, Mayawati said that the people are already reeling under the stress of inflation, unemployment and poverty and now they are hit by the rise in fuel prices, cooking gas and other essential goods.

“This is highly worrying. The Centre must take it seriously,” Mayawati said in a tweet in Hindi.
