Imphal, 2nd Oct. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the revered Mahatma Gandhi, the Government of Manipur hosted a tribute and National Cleanliness Day event at Gandhi Memorial Hall in Imphal.
Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uike offered floral tributes and prayed on the occasion.
She reminded the audience that Gandhiji had disseminated the teachings of truth, nonviolence, justice, love, goodwill, cleanliness and it would be a true tribute to adopt these thoughts of his into our lives.
