Maneka Gandhi Files Nomination Papers, Reveals Assets Worth Rs. 97.17 Crore

Sultanpur, 2nd May. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, who has been elected as a Member of Parliament eight times, declared total assets worth Rs. 97.17 crore.

She disclosed this information in an affidavit submitted on Wednesday in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, while filing her nomination for the Sultanpur Lok Sabha seat.

Out of the total assets, Rs. 45.97 crore were movable assets and Rs. 51.20 crore were immovable assets.

Her bank balance was Rs. 17.83 crore, which was Rs. 18.47 crore in 2019. She reported an increase in earnings from debentures, shares, and bonds, with a revenue of Rs. 24.30 crore compared to Rs. 5.55 crore in 2019. Additionally, her post office savings grew to Rs. 81.01 lakh from Rs. 43.32 lakh in 2019.

According to the affidavit, she owns 3.415 kg of gold and 85 kg of silver valued at Rs. 2.82 crore, as well as a rifle worth Rs. 40,000.
