Man Murders Mother for Refusing to Give Money for Alcohol: Maharashtra Police

Latur, 25th Dec. A 23-year-old man has been taken into custody for allegedly murdering his mother in Maharashtra’s Latur district. The incident occurred on Friday night in Satala village of Ahmedpur tehsil.

The accused, Dnyaneshwar Nathrao Munde, asked his mother, Sangeeta Nathrao Munde (40), for money to purchase alcohol, but she declined his request. In a fit of rage, the son grabbed a crowbar and struck his mother on the head, resulting in her death.

After committing the crime, Dnyaneshwar locked the door of their house and fled. However, he was apprehended by the police the following day.
