Maha State Election Commission Releases Poll Schedule for 1,166 Gram Panchayats

Mumbai, 8th September. The Maharashtra State Election Commission has released the election schedule for 1,166 Gram Panchayats spread across 18 districts. The elections for these panchayats will take place on the 13th of next month.
State Election Commissioner UPS Madan stated that nominations will be accepted from the 21st to the 27th of this month, with scrutiny taking place on the 28th.
Nominations must be withdrawn by the 30th of this month, and election symbols will be distributed on the same day.

Voting will take place on the 13th of next month, from 7.30 AM to 5.30 PM.
Voting will be open until three p.m. in Naxal-affected areas. The vote counting will begin on the 14th of next month.
