Lord Rami Ranger CBE Condemns Attack on Indian High Commission in London by Khalistani Groups

GG News Bureau

London, 24th March. Lord Rami Ranger CBE Chairman of Sardar Patel Memorial Society UK has strongly condemned the vandalism & disrespect to the Indian tricolour flag at the India House, London by an extremist Khalistani group on Sunday, 19th March 2023.

This deplorable incident has shocked and angered every Indian in the world.

Mr Rami said that these misguided few Sikhs are going against the teachings of their Gurus who paid supreme sacrifices to unite humanity. The Brotherhood of Khalsa was especially established to fight tyranny and injustice in India and not fight against Mother India.

He said, “A violent attack on the Indian High Commission building in London is unacceptable. In a democracy, people have the right to a peaceful and orderly protest but not to use violence to attack the sovereign premises of India. The attack also constitutes an attack on British law and order. It can damage the deepening relationship between the two great nations. This is the second time India House has been attacked in a most appalling manner. This should be last so as not to damage Britain’s relations.”

The safety of diplomatic staff and premises must be paramount for the London Mayor and the Home Secretary, he added.
