Lokmanthan 2024 Set to Begin in Hyderabad on November 21

Lokmanthan 2024, an International Conference and Cultural Festival, is set to take place in Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) from November 21 to 24, marking India’s largest celebration of its cultural unity. Organized by Pragna Pravah, New Delhi, and Pragna Bharati, Telangana, along with several associated organizations, the fourth edition of this biennial conclave aims to spotlight the oneness of Bharatiya culture.

The theme for this year is Lok Avalokan with three sub-themes: Lok Vichaar (Thoughts), Lok Vyavhaar (Practices), and Lok Vyavastha (Systems). This theme reflects the interconnected traditions and practices that form the backbone of India’s diverse yet unified cultural heritage.

Inauguration and Key Participants

  • President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will inaugurate the event on November 22 at Shilpa Kala Vedika.
  • Former Vice President, Shri Venkaiah Naidu, will open the exhibition and cultural festival on November 21.
  • The reception committee, chaired by Union Minister Shri Kishan Reddy, features over 120 dignitaries, including Padma Shri awardees, Telugu scholars, and eminent artists.

  • Conferences, art performances, exhibitions, and food courts will draw over 1 lakh visitors daily.
  • Participation by 2,500 delegates and 1,500+ performing artists.

  • State pavilions from Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Telangana.
  • Cultural exhibits highlighting Telangana’s artforms such as Hari Kathas, Perini dance, Kondapalli toys, and Nirmal paintings.
