New Delhi, 19th Nov: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday offered floral tributes at the portrait of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan on her birth anniversary.
Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also paid homage.
Several Members of Parliament and former MPs attended the solemn ceremony marking the remembrance of India’s first woman Prime Minister.
