Lok Sabha Adjourned Amid Chaos Over Rijiju’s Allegations Against Congress

Congress Colluding with George Soros, Anti-India Forces: Kiren Rijiju

GG News Bureau
New Delhi, 10th Dec. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday accused the Congress and its leadership of colluding with US billionaire George Soros and anti-India forces, triggering a ruckus in the Lok Sabha. The uproar forced the House to adjourn for the day.

During Zero Hour, Rijiju criticized Congress leaders for allegedly undermining the dignity of Parliament by wearing masks and jackets with caricatures. Opposition members stormed into the Well of the House, disrupting proceedings as Rijiju made his remarks.

The minister further alleged that Congress’s actions were stalling Parliament and preventing members from raising constituency-related issues.

Earlier, BJP MP Dilip Saikia, who was presiding over the session, allowed the tabling of parliamentary papers and reports from standing committees. Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also introduced the Merchant Shipping Bill, addressing objections raised by Congress MP Manish Tewari and TMC MP Saugata Ray.

The disruption escalated shortly after, prompting Saikia to adjourn the Lok Sabha for the day.
