Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot Tests COVID-19 Positive

Bengaluru, 2^nd Oct. Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot tested positive for COVID-19, a Raj Bhavan communique stated on Sunday.

Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister, wished him a speedy recovery.

“The Honourable Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thawarchand Gehlot, tested positive for COVID-19 today.”

“The Honourable Governor’s health remains stable, and there is no cause for concern,” said a press communique from Raj Bhavan.

CM Bommai responded by tweeting, “Shri Thawarchand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, has been tested positive for Covid-19 today. I wish him a quick & speedy recovery.”
