Karnataka: BJP Selects Yeddyurappa’s Son Vijayendra for team in-charge of the by-polls

Hangal, 6th Oct. The Karnataka BJP on Monday finally included former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa’s son B.Y. Vijayendra in the list of team in-charge for the by-elections of Karnataka.
Actually, Vijayendra’s name was not in the list of in-charges announced by the party on October 1. His name has been included in the revised list released on Monday for the in-charge of Hangal. The names of 13 in-charges for Hangal seat have been released, including some ministers and MPs. Although Yediyurappa was the chief minister, Vijayendra was considered a star campaigner.
The party reconsidered its decision and included his name in the list of in-charges after protests from supporters over the non-inclusion of Vijayendra’s name. The earlier list was announced on October 1. Let us tell you that when Yeddyurappa was the Chief Minister, Vijayendra was considered as the star campaigner of the party.
