New Delhi, 1st December, In line with international oil price fluctuations, jet fuel (ATF) prices have been raised by 1.45%, while commercial LPG rates used in hotels and restaurants have increased by Rs 16.5 per 19-kg cylinder. This marks the fifth consecutive month of hikes in commercial LPG prices.
Jet fuel prices were increased by Rs 1,318.12 per kilolitre, taking the price in Delhi to Rs 91,856.84 per kilolitre, while in Mumbai, the revised price is Rs 85,861.02 per kilolitre. The price hikes reflect global oil trends, impacting fuel prices in the country.
The commercial LPG prices have now reached their highest in one year, with a total increase of Rs 172.5 per 19-kg cylinder. Prior to this, the prices were lowered over four consecutive months, with reductions totaling Rs 148 per cylinder.
As a result of the latest revision, the price of commercial LPG varies across cities. In Mumbai, the price is now Rs 1,771 per 19-kg cylinder, while in Kolkata, it stands at Rs 1,927, and in Chennai, it is Rs 1,980. However, the price of domestic cooking gas remains unchanged at Rs 803 per 14.2-kg cylinder.
State-owned fuel retailers confirmed that the ATF price in Delhi now stands at Rs 91,856.84 per kilolitre. This follows a price hike of Rs 2,941.5 per kl in November. Interestingly, the previous two months saw reductions, with October’s cut being 6.3% and September’s reduction at 4.58%.
