Jayant Patil of the NCP accuses Raj Thackeray of attempting to incite communal strife on purpose

GG News Bureau,
Pune, 16th April: Raj Thackeray’s loudspeaker remark, according to Maharashtra Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Jayant Patil, was a “deliberate attempt” to create communal tension in the state, he said, adding that people will now see the entry of Owaisi into the picture.

“Intentional attempt to incite communal strife in the state. Following Raj Thackeray, Owaisi will enter the picture in the coming days. It is an attempt to instigate a communal schism and unsavoury incidents in the state “Patil told members of the media gathered here.
Raj Thackeray had asked the Maharashtra government to remove loudspeakers from mosques and warned against “putting loudspeakers in front of mosques and playing Hanuman Chalisa.”

He even reminded the state government that loudspeakers in mosques must be turned off by May 3.
Earlier in the day, Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) put up a poster outside the Saamana Office in Mumbai, requesting that Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut “turn off his loudspeaker” in response to the Shiv Sena leader’s reported remark referring to Raj Thackeray as the “Owaisi of Maharashtra.”
The MNS poster also features a picture of Raut’s car, which the party had previously turned upside down, to remind the Shiv Sena leader of the incident.
“Whom you call Owaisi? Sanjay Raut, please shut down your loudspeaker because it is causing problems throughout Maharashtra, or else we will shut down your loudspeaker in MNS style “Outside the office, read the poster.
