New Delhi, 14th Dec. India has recorded 237 new coronavirus infections, with the number of active cases rising to 1,185, according to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry. As of Thursday morning, the total number of cases reached 5,33,309.
The country’s overall Covid case tally stands at 4.50 crore (4,50,03,830), with 4,44,69,336 individuals having recovered from the disease. This translates to a national recovery rate of 98.81%, as reported by the health ministry’s website.
The case fatality rate currently stands at 1.19%. Additionally, the country has administered a total of 220.67 crore doses of the Covid vaccine, according to the ministry’s website.
