New Delhi, 25th Dec. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Christian community on Monday for their significant role in shaping society and their commitment to service.

He expressed the country’s pride in recognizing their contributions.

During a gathering with members of the Christian community at his residence on Christmas, Modi reminisced about his close and warm relationships with Christians.

He acknowledged their continuous efforts in serving the underprivileged and emphasized the significant contributions made by Christian-run institutions in the healthcare and education sectors across the country.

PM Modi highlighted the central message of Jesus Christ’s life, which revolved around compassion and service.

He emphasized that his government’s development journey is guided by these values, and he drew parallels between the teachings of the Bible and the Upanishads, which are considered the foundation of Hindu philosophy.

The Prime Minister encouraged people to focus on their shared values and heritage to move forward.

He emphasized the importance of cooperation, coordination, and the spirit of “sabka prayas” (everyone’s efforts) in taking the country to new heights.
