New Delhi, 13th May: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday visited the Air Force Station (AFS) Adampur to meet and interact with Indian Air Force personnel and soldiers stationed there. In a heartfelt gesture, the Prime Minister acknowledged the unwavering courage, resilience, and patriotism of the armed forces.
Sharing his experience on social media platform X, PM Modi posted, “Earlier this morning, I went to AFS Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a very special experience to be with those who epitomise courage, determination and fearlessness. India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation.”
The Prime Minister’s visit comes at a time of heightened military alertness following India’s recent counterterrorism operations under “Operation Sindoor” and serves as a morale booster for the personnel engaged in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.
AFS Adampur, located in Punjab, is one of the oldest and most strategically significant airbases in India. The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the government’s continued support and admiration for the Indian Armed Forces and their vital role in national security.
