Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, on Tuesday, attracted the multinational companies to invest in India and said that new business opportunities are being created in the country.
Goyal while addressing the CII’s Partnership Summit 2020 online said that India welcomes the foreign investors. Policies have been made favourable for them and there will be constant changes.
He said that the Indian economy is on a path of continuous improvement and markets are being opened to global Investors. The Union Minister further said that FDI is continuously increasing in India. India’s FDI policy is the most convenient in the world.
Total FDI for the period April to September 2020 has been $ 40 Billion, an increase of 13% over the previous year. There is an investment promotion cell in all the ministries and the Central and State Governments are working together to create an atmosphere of investment.
