What will happen to a state whose Chief Minister spends his time engaging in some other business? Well, the state will escape his control. Telangana is going to experience something similar. Just that the Bhartiya Janata Party will eloquently seize control of the southern state from Telangana. And to up the ante even further, the BJP now has the X-factor as well.
South India is experiencing an equator shift
Telangana, the newest state in India, was originally split off from Madras in 1956 but later merged with Andhra Pradesh to create a Telugu-speaking state. The revolution persisted, though, and Congress divided the territory to create Telangana as a new state in order to fulfill popular demands. K. Chandrashekhar Rao, however, claimed the glory and was elected as the state’s first chief executive. Since then, the state has been governed by the KCR and his party, the TRS. However, he might soon lose his chair, and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is also receiving bad signals.
Shah meets Junior NTR
During his brief visit to Telangana, Home Minister Amit Shah met RRR star Jr. NTR in Hyderabad. Jr. NTR was praised highly by Shah, who referred to him as the “gem of Telugu cinema.” “Had a good interaction with a very talented actor and the gem of our Telugu cinema, Jr. NTR,” Shah wrote on Twitter while sharing photos of the movie star.
Political circles are buzzing about the meeting because it coincides with the BJP’s efforts to increase its influence in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. And there is always more to a situation than first appears. In the upcoming assembly elections, the party believes it has a good chance of winning.
Amit Shah in working mode
Since the 2014 parliamentary elections, the BJP’s juggernaut has continued to roll, and Amit Shah, the infamous Chanakya and current Home Minister, is a major factor in this. He has been developing the BJP’s strategies, and he has had great success leading the organization to its pinnacle. Amit Shah’s most recent pledge appears to be intended to topple the TRS administration in Telangana.
In the state, Jr. NTR is the X-factor that the BJP has been looking for as assembly elections are scheduled for 2023. In addition to being one of the most well-known actors in Tollywood, Jr. The NTR also has political roots. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was founded by NT Rama Rao, better known as NTR, who also held the position of Chief Minister. He is the grandfather of Jr. NTR. In addition, N Harikrishna, his father, was a former Minister for the state of Andhra Pradesh and a former Rajya Sabha member.
As a result, many people would not be surprised if Jr. NTR entered politics. The Bhartiya Janata Party, which is attempting to gain ground in Telangana, would stand to gain the most from this.
BJP targets junior in South India. The recent meeting between PM Modi and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu can be seen in the background of NTR’s meeting with Shah. Recent events imply that the BJP may have a soft spot for the TDP. Additionally, Naidu has been working hard to revive the TDP in Telangana as opposition to the KCR grows. Andhra CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will have sleepless nights if BJP and TDP choose to play on the same court. The BJP is prepared to enter both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as it only has one ally, the TDP.
