Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati for the election campaign in wake of the next year’s Assam Assembly election. He landed at the airport, where he was welcomed as per the local traditions.
According to the information, after attending the government and party events in Assam, Amit Shah will go to Manipur on Sunday. Before leaving for Imphal, he will lay the foundation stone of Churachandpur Medical College and meet the leaders of the civil society. During his three days visit to Assam and Manipur, he will also meet the allies of BJP.
After that, during the meeting with the Chief Minister of Assam, Home Minister Amit Shah will review the law and order in the state. The Director General of Police and other senior officials will also take part in the meeting.
