Home Minister Amit Shah to be in J&K for 2-days from June 23

New Delhi, 22nd June. Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, will visit Jammu and Kashmir on June 23 and 24, attending different development programs in Jammu and Srinagar.

On Friday morning, the home minister will begin his tour of the Union Territory by laying wreaths at the statue of BJP ideologue and Bhartiya Jana Sangha founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee in Jammu.

Following that, Shah will lay the groundwork for the Central Forensic Sciences Laboratory in Samba. According to sources, he would also launch and lay the foundations for major city development projects.

According to reports, the Union Home Minister will fly to Srinagar in the afternoon to attend an event at Raj Bhavan for the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for various development projects.

Later, he will visit the city’s ‘Vitasta’ festival, which is organized by the Union Ministry of Culture.

The home minister will lay the foundation for the ‘Validan Stambh’ in Srinagar on Saturday before returning to the national capital.
