HM Amit Shah Praises Jawans Serving from -46°C to +46°C, Launches National Security Service Meet at Brahma Kumaris HQ
Abu Road: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday paid glowing tribute to the nation’s armed and security forces for their
unwavering dedication, stating they serve at the borders through extreme temperatures ranging from minus 46°C to plus 46°C, offering the golden years of their lives for the safety of the country.
Speaking at the National Conference of the Security Services Wing at the Brahma Kumaris’ international headquarters in Shantivan, Shah inaugurated the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the wing and unveiled this year’s central theme — “Rajyoga Meditation for Global Unity and Trust.”

Highlighting the mental and physical stress faced by the country’s protectors, Shah emphasized that the peace and stability enjoyed by the nation stem from their sacrifices. “In places like Rajasthan’s deserts, jawans protect our borders in extreme conditions. Police forces across states, excluding the army and CRPF, work under constant pressure to maintain law and order,” he noted.
He lauded the Brahma Kumaris for their efforts in alleviating stress through spirituality. “Taking our security personnel away from violence and stress, and guiding their mind, body, and soul towards peace through meditation is a monumental task,” Shah added, praising the organization’s initiatives.
India’s Legacy of Peace and Unity
Shah underscored India’s ancient tradition of peace and holistic growth, noting that the country was the first to share the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world as one family. He reiterated the government’s goal of making India the world’s top economy by the centenary of independence, combining economic growth with spiritual leadership rooted in India’s heritage.
Rajyoga as a Path to Global Peace
Referring to International Yoga Day initiated by Prime Minister Modi, Shah said yoga and meditation are now transforming millions of lives worldwide. “This path will be the foundation for global peace,” he asserted.
First Visit to Brahma Kumaris
Sharing his experience, Shah said he had heard much about the Brahma Kumaris but felt true inner peace only upon visiting Shantivan. He paid tribute to the institution’s founder, Lekhraj Kripalani, acknowledging his role in bringing spiritual transformation to countless lives.
“I also offer heartfelt tributes to the late Rajyogini Dadi Ratanmohini and extend my best wishes to current head Rajyogini BK Mohini Didi,” Shah added.
Spiritual Strength for Soldiers
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also addressed the gathering, praising the Brahma Kumaris for offering mental strength to soldiers. “From defence to sports, yoga is being incorporated across sectors to enhance performance and inner resilience,” Sharma said.
Rajyogini BK Mohini Didi emphasized that peace must begin within, and meditation is the tool to achieve mental focus and emotional stability.
High-Level Participation and Tight Security
More than 400 officers and soldiers from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force are participating in the four-day conference to learn Rajyoga techniques. The event saw the presence of dignitaries including CM Bhajanlal Sharma, BJP state president Madan Rathore, and senior Brahma Kumaris leaders.
Security was tight at Shantivan, with SPG commandos, local police, and special forces ensuring protocol during the visit of the Home Minister.
The Brahma Kumaris’ 2025–26 theme emphasizes “Meditation for Global Unity and Trust, and Nation Empowerment through Inner Awakening of Security Forces.”
