HM Amit Shah Meets Injured Security Personnel of Karegutta Anti-Naxal Operation

New Delhi, 15th May: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Thursday visited the AIIMS Trauma Centre in Delhi to meet the security personnel injured during a high-intensity anti-Naxal operation that eliminated 31 Naxalites in the Karegutta Hills, located along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border.

Expressing the nation’s deep gratitude, Shah personally inquired about the health of the injured jawans and assured them of the immense pride and trust the country holds in their service.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Home Minister said, “Our security forces are wiping out every trace of Naxalism with their valour. Today, visited AIIMS Trauma Centre, Delhi, and met the security personnel who were injured during anti-Naxal operations eliminating 31 Naxalites in the Karegutta Hills. Inquired about their health and assured them of the trust and pride the nation takes in them.”

Praising the courage and determination of the forces, Shah highlighted that the operation was carried out over 21 continuous days, showcasing the extraordinary resilience of the personnel involved. “The whole country is proud of the bravery and courage of these soldiers,” he added.

The anti-Naxal operation marks a major success for India’s internal security forces and reinforces the government’s commitment to eradicating Left-Wing Extremism from the country.
