HM Amit Shah Extends Greetings to Devotees on Shri Amarnath Yatra

New Delhi, 29th June. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah extended warm greetings to all devotees as the Shri Amarnath Yatra commenced on Saturday. In his message, Shah highlighted the Yatra’s significance, calling it an “eternal symbol of the tradition and timelessness of Indian culture.”

In a post on the X platform, Amit Shah expressed his best wishes, stating, “Shri Amarnath Yatra is an eternal symbol of the tradition and timelessness of Indian culture. Today marks the beginning of this divine journey. I extend my best wishes to all the devotees for Baba’s darshan-pujan. Our government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, is committed to a safe, smooth, and pleasant journey for the devotees and has made every possible arrangement to ensure they do not face any inconvenience. Har-Har Mahadev!”

The government has taken extensive measures to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims, reaffirming its dedication to facilitating a hassle-free Yatra experience under PM Modi’s leadership.

The Shri Amarnath Yatra is a significant pilgrimage, drawing thousands of devotees annually to the sacred Amarnath Cave, known for its naturally formed ice lingam.
