New Delhi, 9th August. Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat announced on Thursday that the third edition of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” (HGT) campaign will be celebrated from August 9 to August 15, 2024. In its first year, the flag was hoisted at over 23 crore homes, with 6 crore selfies uploaded. In 2023, the campaign saw more than 10 crore selfies.
The Minister highlighted the active participation of all States and Union Territories, along with key industry partners, including e-commerce platforms, railways, and the armed forces. Self-Help Groups are also contributing to the campaign by producing and distributing flags.
