New Delhi, 21st June. Global Trade and Technology Council India (GTTCI) organised a yoga session by Aacharya Anita, Vedic Shastra Teacher and Founder of Sarvha Foundation to celebrate International Yoga Day 2023.
The yoga session was held on 20th June 2023 at Embassy of Nepal, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi-01.
The yoga session was attended by various Ambassadors and special guests from the Embassy of Italy, Japan, Turkey, Belarus, Philippines, Myanmar, Ambassador of Argentina and spouse, Delegates from WHO and UNDP
Dr Rashmi Saluja- chairperson Religare India, High Commission of Rwanda, Fiji, Columbia and Germany.
The Yoga session started with relaxing yoga poses and meditation by Aacharya Anita which was later on followed by refreshments. This yoga session encouraged cultural exchange and understanding as ambassadors from different countries and backgrounds joined together in the spirit of yoga.
Ambassador of Nepal Dr Shankar Sharma gave a welcome address and told the importance of Yoga in daily life.
Dr Gaurav Gupta founder of GTTCI presented momento to all the guests.
International Yoga Day promotes the idea that yoga is a holistic approach to health and wellness, offering benefits not only on a personal level but also for society as a whole. It encourages individuals to incorporate yoga into their daily routines and lead a balanced lifestyle.
It has become a global platform to highlight the transformative power of yoga and its potential to improve physical health, mental clarity, and overall quality of life.
This session helped in recognizing and appreciating the ancient wisdom and heritage of yoga, which originated in India thousands of years ago.Overall, this yoga session was a celebration of the importance of yoga, promoting its physical, mental, and spiritual benefits, encouraging global participation, and fostering unity and well-being among individuals and communities.
