GTTCI Celebrates World Environment Day 2023 at National Museum in Delhi

New Delhi, 8th June. Global Trade and Technology Council, India (GTTCI) proudly organized the World Environment Day 2023 event on June 7th.

The event took place at the National Museum Auditorium, Janpath, New Delhi and welcomed distinguished Ambassadors from various countries.

The esteemed guests, including H Dillium, Ambassador of Mauritius, Ganbold Dambajav; Ambassador of Embassy of Mongolia; KAWAZU Kunihiko, DCM of Embassy of Japan; KL Ganju, Union of Comoros; Abuk Deng Bulabek, Counsellor of Embassy of South Sudan; Jibeni Younnes Amum Nykeir, Second Secretary of Embassy of South Sudan, and Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of Religare Group, graced the occasion with their presence.

Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President – GTTCI, delivered the welcome address and presented bio-compostable planters to all the guests.

World Environment Day is a global initiative led by the United Nations, aiming to encourage worldwide participation in protecting our planet and promoting sustainable development.

It serves as a platform to address various environmental challenges, including climate change, deforestation, pollution, biodiversity loss, and sustainable consumption.

The event serves as a reminder that protecting the environment is a collective responsibility. Through collaboration and cooperation, we can create a sustainable future and ensure the well-being of our planet for generations to come.

During the event, all panelists focused on this year’s theme, “#BeatPlasticPollution,” and appreciated the efforts of GTTCI in organizing such initiatives and platforms for enriching knowledge and sharing ideas to execute greater plans for a greener tomorrow.

The program commenced with the Ganesh Vandana performance by Team Ol’ That Jazz, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President – GTTCI. Subsequently, the panel discussion took place, where the panelists, guests, and partners were felicitated.

Esteemed panelists included Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of Religare Group, Sh Sushil Goswami, Dr. Shankar Goenka, Managing Director of WOW Factors, and Dr. Amit Kaur Puri.

The program also featured the Summer Dance Show – Exuberance by Ol’ That Jazz, which showcased different dance acts by various age groups. Dr. Pawan Kansal (Chairperson GTTCI) felicitated the guests alongside Dr. Gaurav.

The program concluded on a positive note with a vote of thanks, followed by an award ceremony and hi-tea.
