New Delhi, 25th June. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant held crucial meetings in Delhi on Monday, including with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to discuss key issues concerning the state’s development.
In a statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office, Sawant extended congratulations to PM Modi on his third consecutive term as Prime Minister and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure.
During his Delhi visit, Sawant also met with Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president J.P. Nadda, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Speaking about his meeting with PM Modi, Sawant sought the Prime Minister’s guidance and support for Goa’s development under the initiative ‘Viksit Goa’, aligned with the broader vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.
Additionally, discussions included preparations for hosting the prestigious 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024, where Sawant highlighted key aspects with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
