“ Gita-Inspired Needonomics and Anu-Gita are essential for Contemporary Challenges through the Synergy of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) ,” believes,
Propounder Needonomics School of Thought and thrice Vice Chancellor Professor Madan Mohan Goel, superannuated Professor of Economics from Kurukshetra University. He was delivering online address of the UGC-FDP organized by UGC- Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) Jai Narain Vyas University Jodhpur. His topic was ‘Indian Knowledge System: Relevance of Gita-inspired Needonomics and Anu-Gita ’.  FDP Coordinator Dr Sachin Gupta delivered the welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel.

We must understand Gita-based needonomics for needo-lifestyle taken from the logo of LIC of India ‘Yogakshemam Vahamyaham’ based on sloka no 22 of Ch. 9 of Gita as a common sense approach which is ethical, nonviolent, environmental friendly and spiritual in nature, explained Prof Goel.

IKS with Gita-based Needonomics is a strategic move to foster a sense of identity and pride among learners, believes Prof Goel.

Needonomics is the lighthouse of Gita as the domain of the Indian Knowledge System, opined Prof. Goel.

To script a new narrative of education based on the Indian Knowledge System, we must become street SMART (simple, moral, action-oriented, responsive, and transparent), explained Prof. Goel.

In knowledge economy, Saraswati the goddess of knowledge, creativity, learning and wisdom rules to help us generate Lakshmi, wealth and prosperity, believes Prof Goel.

Goddess Saraswati uses a swan as her vehicle which has a sensitive beak that enables it to distinguish milk from a mixture of milk and water and symbolizes the power to discriminate between good and bad, valuable and useless, told Prof. Goel.

We can develop critical thinking and wisdom by becoming deserving children of Goddess Saraswati and must note that where Saraswati resides, Goddess Lakshmi soon arrives, told Prof Goel.
