The United States has made Pakistan a “slave” without invading it, according to ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan, who claims that the people will never accept an “imported government.”

Khan, a 69-year-old cricketer-turned-politician, was ousted from power last month in a no-confidence vote, which he claims was orchestrated by the US with the help of local players in response to his pursuit of an independent foreign policy.

Following his ouster, Khan held several public rallies across the country, branding the new government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as “traitors and corrupt rulers” imposed at the behest of the US.
Following his ouster, he accused the US of conspiring against his government, an allegation that both the US and the incumbent government here have denied.

“The US has effectively enslaved Pakistan without having to invade it. The Pakistani people will never accept an imported government “On Sunday, he spoke at a rally in Faisalabad, Pakistan’s Punjab province.

The former prime minister accused the United States of being a self-centered country that does not help others without first looking out for its own interests.
Khan said on Sunday that Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will ‘beg’ US Secretary Antony Blinken for money so that he (Khan) cannot return to power.
Blinken invited Pakistan to attend the Ministerial Meeting on Global Food Security, which will be held in New York on May 18.

Khan accused Bilawal and his father, Asif Ali Zardari, of being corrupt and hiding their money all over the world.

“Because all of Bilawal’s wealth is held outside of the country, he cannot risk upsetting the US, or he will lose everything,” Khan said at the rally.

The former Prime Minister claimed on Saturday that a ‘conspiracy’ to assassinate him was being hatched in Pakistan and abroad, warning that if anything happens to him, the public will learn about the perpetrators via a video message he recently recorded and stored in a safe place.
