New Delhi, 22nd Jan. Former Prime Minister HD Devegowda tested positive for Covid on Saturday.
He is asymptomatic and his health is stable, his office informed.
Former Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa extended his best wishes for Devegowda’s speedy recovery.

In a tweet in Kannada today, he wrote, “I hope that senior leader and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda will soon recover from Coronavirus.”
HD Devegowda was the 12th prime minister of India who served from June 1996 to April 1997. He was previously the 14th CM of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996.
HD Devegowda presently is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha.
