The opposition parties are constantly targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party over the new agriculture laws. Today, former Lok Sabha MP Harinder Singh Khalsa resigned from BJP.

It is being said that the reason behind his resignation is the farmers’ protest against the new farm laws. Khalsa had joined BJP in March 2019. It must be noted that Khalsa had also resigned from the Indian Foreign Service in protest against Operation Blue Star of 1984 and anti-sikh riots.
