West Bengal, 30th June. The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose met on Saturday to talk about important national problems.
Additionally, he emphasized the necessity of putting “income generating economic development programmes” into place for those working in the fishing industry.
FM Sitharaman was given a comprehensive action plan for the growth of the Fisheries Sector so that it could be included in the budget and handled appropriately.
Bose originally wrote this report while serving as the Government of India’s Labour Advisory Board’s “One Man Commission.”
The growing importance of the governor in the federal system was also extensively discussed by the two.
The Governor suggests closely adhering to the idea of “Rajyapal Vikas ke Rajdooth” by conducting routine monitoring of the state’s development projects’ implementation, especially those that are funded by central government schemes.
As required by Article 167 of the Indian Constitution, the Governor is also expected to act as a watchdog over the State’s finances and other administrative matters.
Bose outlined the suggested course of action for the State’s development and governance. The Governor suggests giving the Chief Minister instructions to present a critical evaluation of the state’s financial management to the Council of Ministers. Additionally, he asked the West Bengal government to provide him with a White Paper on state finances.F
