Nagpur, 3rd August. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met with several functionaries of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Nagpur on Saturday.
The meeting comes amidst speculation regarding his potential candidacy for the BJP president’s post.
Sources indicate that Fadnavis visited the Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in the Reshimbagh area, where he interacted with RSS leaders. Details of the discussions during the meeting remain undisclosed.
Fadnavis is also scheduled to attend a BJP convention in Nagpur later today. On Friday, he addressed rumors about his possible nomination for the BJP president role, dismissing them as media-generated speculation.
“These talks have been started by the media and are restricted to the media alone,” Fadnavis stated.
