Excitement Among Indian-Americans for PM Modi’s U.S. Visit

New York, 29th August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to the United States is generating significant enthusiasm among the Indian-American community. On September 22, PM Modi will address the “Modi and U.S. Progress Together” event at Nassau Stadium in New York.

The event has already seen registrations from over 24,000 Indian-Americans, despite the stadium’s capacity being 18,000. According to the Indian-American community organization IACU, attendance could surpass 30,000. The event is expected to attract participants from 42 of the 50 U.S. states, with the highest number of registrations coming from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Texas, and Florida.

The gathering will feature successful Indian-Americans from various fields, including science, entertainment, and business. Prime Minister Modi will also address the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 26.

PM Modi’s visit follows similar events held in 2014 at Madison Square Garden and in 2019 at Houston’s NRG Stadium.
