Jaunpur, 12th Sept. Former Uttar Pradesh DGP Jagmohan Yadav has been charged with thrashing and threatening a village head, police said on Tuesday.

A clip of the incident went viral on social media.

Yadav, an IPS officer from the 1983 batch, was the director general of police from December 31, 2014 till December 31, 2015.
