Prayagraj, 15th Jan. Abhay Singh, also known as “Engineer Baba,” is a former Aerospace Engineering student from IIT Bombay who has captivated the attendees of the Maha Kumbh with his unique blend of science and spirituality. Hailing from Haryana, Engineer Baba uses scientific principles to explain deep spiritual concepts, helping devotees understand complex ideas through diagrams and visual presentations.
The Maha Kumbh, which began on Monday, has seen an increasing number of professionals, including engineers, models, and anchors from both India and abroad, renouncing worldly life to explore spirituality. According to an official statement from the Uttar Pradesh government, these individuals are turning to Sanatan Dharma for deeper fulfilment, reflecting a growing trend among today’s youth.
Engineer Baba shared, “Science helps explain the physical world but its deeper study inevitably leads one towards spirituality. A true understanding of life ultimately brings one closer to spirituality.”
Another inspiring figure at the Kumbh is Harsha from Uttarakhand, who left the glamour industry to embrace spirituality. Initiated into Sanatan Dharma by Swami Kailashananda Giri, she expressed how the superficiality of glamour left her empty, and how spirituality brought peace and new purpose to her life.
The Maha Kumbh has become a spiritual space where both modern and traditional values meet. It has become a platform for personal transformation, especially among professionals seeking peace and stability through Sanatan Dharma.
