New Delhi, 22nd April. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that Earth Day is about expressing gratitude to Mother Earth for her kindness and reiterating our commitment to care for our planet.
The Prime Minister also shared a video on the occasion. He tweeted, “#EarthDay is about expressing gratitude to Mother Earth for her kindness and reiterating our commitment to care for our planet.”

Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22 to make people aware about environmental protection. First commemorated on April 22, 1970, Earth Day now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.
The official theme for Earth Day 2022 is ‘Invest In Our Planet’.
