In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister described the achievement as a proud moment for the nation. He said the team’s relentless effort, discipline and teamwork had set a new benchmark in Indian sports.

“Congratulations to Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team for creating history by winning the inaugural Blind Women’s T20 World Cup! More commendable is the fact that they stayed unbeaten in the series.
