‘Dominant, Relentless, Brilliant’: Gautam Adani Hails Team India’s ICC Champions Trophy Win

New Delhi- Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Monday expressed immense pride and joy over Team India’s victory in the ICC Champions Trophy final, praising their dominant performance against New Zealand.

Taking to social media platform X, Adani lauded the Men in Blue for their thrilling four-wicket win at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. “Dominant. Relentless. Brilliant. Triumphant. India Zeals the Deal!” he posted. The Adani Group’s official handle also celebrated the achievement, congratulating Team India on their title win.

India successfully chased down New Zealand’s target of 252 on a slow, turning pitch. Captain Rohit Sharma led from the front with an explosive 76 off 83 balls, while Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya made key contributions to steady the innings. Despite the New Zealand bowlers, particularly the spinners, putting up a strong fight, India maintained composure to clinch their third ICC Champions Trophy title.

This victory comes as a redemption for India after their heartbreaking loss in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup final. Notably, India remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, registering wins against Bangladesh, Pakistan, and New Zealand in the league stage before defeating Australia in the semi-finals.
