Odisha, 21st July. In a peculiar occurrence in Odisha, a team of surgeons from the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) surgically removed 77 needles from a teenager’s head.
The 19-year-old from Ichgaon, Balangir district of Orissa, was subjected to sorcery therapy.
According to India Today, Reshma Behera was brought to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital after complaining of severe headaches. Following a CT scan, it was discovered that she had multiple needles implanted into her skull, and she was referred to VIMSAR for specialized treatment.
Following several tests and scans, an invasive operation was scheduled to remove all of the needles. Following a lengthy operation, the physicians successfully withdrew 77 needles.
